PhD or Master by Research (Mphil) to study at UWA:
1) for PhD or Mphil: must have a Master degree or Honours degree in Computer Science, Maths or relevant fields (you don’t need to have a Master degree before January if you consider CSC PhD scholarship – but you will obtain it in June/July in the same year).
2) CSC 2026: please contact asap due to limited positions.
3) WAM (weighted average marks) >= 80.0 (out of 100.0).
4) with valid English Test, IELTS or PTE etc if you are offshore.
5) candiates with more than 1 first-authored quality papers will be prioritized, e.g., CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/AAAI/IJCAI/NeurIPS, TMM, TNNLS, TVCG etc.
6) Master and/or Bachelor university within World TOP 100 or Project 211/985 will be prioritised.
7) self-funded Master by Research or PhD will be considered.

Visiting PhD students:
1) PhD studying at prestigious universities like Project 985/211 or world TOP 150.
2) with 1~3 CORE A* or CCF A/B papers published/accepted.
3) duration typically 1~2 years.
